DESCRIPTION:
Emergency Medicine physicians needed for Houston long-term acute care facilities for 12 or 24-hour shifts, one or more days per week. Keep in mind that you are on-call, on-site and will ONLY be paged in the event of an emergency.
LTAC shifts are a great opportunity to study and/or catch up on sleep while making supplemental income!
*Must have current TX CSR / DEA / ACLS
*Must be comfortable with intubations in an emergency situation and have recent experience.
*Must have handled at least five codes as lead physician within the last year.
*Must have experience with central lines within the last year.
*Adult Medical-Surgical practice experience required.
*Critical Care/ ER Experience required
*Ventilator Management Skills required
*A-rated malpractice insurance provided
*Weekly pay
