DESCRIPTION:
Very low volume ER position (one bed ER, 6 bed ICU)
-Will accept ER or IM, FP with ER experience
-Must have ACLS, DEA, DPS
-Physicians are given a comfortable room with all the amenities. Must be comfortable with the below:
Must be capable of doing intubations in an emergency situation (5 in the last six months)
Must be capable of doing central lines in an emergency situation (5 in the last six months)
Must be capable of handling a “CODE” as the lead physician
Must have Adult Medical/Surgical practice experience
Ventilator Management
No Rounds only admissions (Appx. 7-10 admissions for AM shift and 1-2 for PM shift)
Shift Times: AM (7A-7P) PM (7P-7A)
There are NO Trauma, Pediatric, OB, Neuro, or Cardiothoracic patients treated at this facility
Basic Qualifications include:
*U.S. Citizen or valid green card holder
Texas Medical license required
*TXDPS, ACLS
