Recently, one of our long-time ER clients needed some last-minute weekend coverage.
That afternoon, Mint was able to send one of our best physicians, Dr. T, to get them the coverage that they so urgently needed.
At the conclusion of her shift, Dr. T was preparing to leave when the client suddenly requested that she stay a bit longer since her relief had not shown up yet.
An hour goes by, and still no sign of relief. Another half hour goes by and suddenly Dr. T was called into action because the ER receptionist began to experience a medical emergency with a heart rate in the 240s.
Dr. T began stabilizing the patient and just as she succeeded in doing so, her relief finally showed up, having been delayed by a car accident.
All in a day’s work for an incredible member of the Mint team, where saving lives and building careers is our focus.
In October of 2008, Stuart acquired the assets of Prime Staff—a Houston-based locum tenens company with a successful 12-year track record of placing physicians throughout the southeastern United States. After an overhaul of the business and re-branding to Mint Physician Staffing, the company has since quadrupled in size in terms of both employee count and revenue. As President, Stuart manages the company on a daily basis. He is purely a private individual investor and is not affiliated with any other company or private equity investor.
